Traffic Lights

I like to thank each and every traffic light I encounter

Green for letting me go though without stopping

Yellow for waiting just long enough for me to get through

Red for doing its job well and protecting me from harm

The lights remind me to be thankful for different aspects of my life

To remember to be appreciative of when life is easy and flowing and

not take it for granted.

To be thankful for when the universe waits for me to “get it”

And when the universe sometimes asks me to stop…

to remember that that voice I am hearing has my best interests at heart,

so listen.
