The Garden of Eden
In
the beginning
All
two of us lived in a wonderful place
Called
the Garden of Eden
Everywhere
there was
Beauty
And harmony
And perfection
A
truly great place to live
Then
one day we ate a forbidden fruit
Suddenly,
the beauty, harmony, and perfection was gone
And
everywhere there was
Hardship
And cruelty
And pain
And
we accepted our punishment
And
say that’s just the way life is
But
when you look with your heart
You
will see
The
beauty, harmony and perfection
In
every flower and tree
In
every fish, mammal, and bug
In
every person around you
In
even the hardship, cruelty and pain
And
see right through the illusion
That
we ever left the Garden at all
